The Masters in Higher Education is a part-time taught programme incorporating appropriate elements of theory, practice and research activity. The programme consists of core and optional modules to be completed before the participants complete the M.A. Thesis Module.
The modules are listed in Table 1 and presented in a diagram here; Menu of modules figure for MA 2016-17. Please note that confirmed optional modules for 2017-18 will be posted to this website shortly.

The programme is structured so that it is possible for participants to complete the required number of modules to obtain 60 ECTS within the first academic year of the MA programme. Exemptions from some modules may be available for applicants who have previously completed a postgraduate certificate or diploma in higher education.
Participants will then be able to complete the MA thesis module within the second academic year.
